Blanking and Freezing

Back in June I posted about how we were having success with a blank trigger, reading it back now I think I was being slightly optimistic! Elle (after a great deal of pressure from a couple of regular readers I will no longer be using single letters for our names!) was feeling very trapped when her blank trigger was used and in hindsight, not going very 'blank' at all. While we had also tried out a freeze trigger, that was something that Elle found annoyingly easy to break free of. That obviously wouldn't do, would it now?!

As these things so often start out for us, Elle bet me that an induction using a swinging watch wouldn't work. (why does she persist with the idea that I can't turn ANYTHING I want into an induction :-D ). Well we didn't have a swinging watch to hand so a long necklace had to do. As soon as Elle's eyes were fixed on the necklace and I had started my patter, I could see her beginning to drift into trance. Rather than allow her to close her eyes and drift into a normal trance, I instructed that her eyes would stay wide open, completely fixated on the necklace. I could see her eyes narrowing in, pure concentration on the slow swing.

Once she was sufficiently deep, I began to get her muscles to freeze. One by one. Feeling all control of her muscles slowly drifting away. Completely frozen, just like a mannequin. Like she was made of plastic. I then got her eyes to stop following the necklace, but to fix on a distant point. A point that she wouldn't be able to actually focus on, just somewhere to maintain her eye fixation on. The fun bit came when she was completely frozen, I slowly encouraged her mind to just melt away. Her mind unable to hold on to any thought. Just like water slipping through her hands. The harder she tried to hold onto a thought, the quicker it would disappear from her mind. Until all thoughts were gone, her mind completely blank. It was bloody fun watching her face go completely blank, her facial muscles relaxed that extra bit more than usual, her eyes became completely defocused. A rather enjoyable sight!

During our 'hypno debrief' (as is customary for us these days when we have a success with something new) it turned out that Elle wasn't really aware of anything around her at the time of being blank as her mind was unable to hold onto the thought. However, upon waking, much of it came back as her mind was once again allowed to process the information.

There are a number of posts in the pipeline that I hope to have out soon!
