Last couple of weeks

Time for an update.

L and I are finally back together full time, which means we've been having lots of fun in the last couple of weeks. I'm aware that this could turn into one long ramble but I shall try my best to prevent that from happening!

So, hypno highlights from the last couple of weeks - The beginnings of amnesia are starting to take hold, L now has a *blank* trigger that is becoming more and more effective, I have had my first real success at hypnotising someone other than L (and my first failure), we've attended our first hypno-meet and last, but by no means least, L's now able to be *stuck* to things!

As I discussed in my previous post, I wanted to explore amnesia with L. Over the last couple of weeks, I have been introducing it more regularly into L's trances. What had occurred while she was in trance had started to get fuzzier and fuzzier until the other day when she completely forgot what had happened! Needless to say, she was slightly confused when she came round and she was no longer wearing a bra and her t-shirt was on back to front :P. With more work I'm sure that we'll have amnesia fully working and ready to be used to its maximum in no time at all! I also gave L a *blank* trigger, at first it was something she really didn't enjoy as she apparently felt very 'trapped'. With constant reassurance and a 'feel good' link -"The more blank you become, the happier you will feel" the feeling of being 'trapped' is reduced but still not to the level that I am happy to use this trigger too often. I think I may need to reevaluate my approach to the *blank* suggestion and structure it in a different way that will leave L sinking into a much happier state.

Now to my first hypno success with someone other than L. In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that the person that I hypnotised was a friend (who for the purpose of this blog will be known as 'E') and had been hypnotised during a stage show previously. It was still good to practice my instant induction techniques on someone who doesn't drop into trance quite as quickly as L! (She now tends to drop before I'm even half way through my patter! ). E was a great subject, I did an 8 word induction on her and she went under straight away, even though we were in an incredibly loud pub beer-garden and our rather large group of friends were all staring. I guess you really can hypnotise people anywhere, anytime. I ran through a few simple suggestions with E, name amnesia, unable to speak, stuck hands, unable to drink and uncontrollable laughter. This last one is becoming a favourite in order to prove to people that someone really is hypnotised. It is embarrassing enough (in busy places as it draws a fair bit of attention and dodgy looks) that people can see that someone wouldn't fake it but not embarrassing enough that the subject wants to wake up and hit you!

While the turnout wasn't great for our first hypno-meet, there were only 5 of us in total, it was an enjoyable and informative evening. Good to meet fellow hypnotists and learn a bit more! Possibly the most beneficial part of the evening was that L was taught how to get stuck! I think how what was said to her affected her ability to follow a *stuck* suggestion would be a very interesting first post for L, so I think I shall leave that to her. She will be receiving a suggestion to get writing her first post very soon so you shouldn't have to wait long!

Here we are at the end of another post. I hope that you are enjoying following us on our journey and I would really like to hear from anyone who reads this as to what you would like to hear more about in the future, so please do get in touch!

  1. I read your blog regularly and am loving the updates. Just keep them coming and keep us filled in with what you're up to as often as you feel like doing so. Some people are naturally hesitant to write too much detail about what happens - but i love the detail (hearing how she slips into a trance, her reactions while under, reaction upon waking, reaction when carrying out PHS etc etc). Best, W.

  2. I completely agree with the previous commment. It's all about the details. I have been enjoying your blog and look forward to all of your updates. I want to hopefully start talking my girlfriend more seriously about hypnosis. Wish me luck.

  3. I'm loving this blog :) Especially your surprise success in the kitchen on the first induction. I thought that stuff takes multiple inductions, is L especially suggestible or do you think the trust and the fact you're a couple take precedence over that?

I think this blog and other's like Dan's may tip me over the edge confidence wise to give it a go once I find a willing subject ;-)

  4. Thanks Anonymouses lol, it'd be really helpful if everyone made themselves up a name in the future!

    1) I think the combination of L being so willing to try hypnosis, her being quite submissive and the fact that there is so much trust between us is what has made this journey so easy so far.

    2) Definitely speak to your girlfriend about it! Show her my latest post and she'll probably be begging you to hypnotise her ;-)

    3) I'll try and get more detail into my posts from now on!

Thanks for reading the blog everyone.
